Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital Leads the Way with Pulsed Field Ablation
Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital is one of the first hospitals in California to provide pulsed field ablation (PFA), a new treatment for atrial fibrillation (AFib). This minimally invasive treatment uses electrical impulses to destroy the damaged heart cells that cause AFib, an irregular heartbeat that can lead to stroke or heart failure.
Our cardiologists view PFA as a truly groundbreaking procedure because it’s safer, much quicker and more effective for our patients than current ablation treatments.
