Our Approach

At the Providence Multi-Organ Transplant Center Clinic – Los Angeles, our multidisciplinary team of licensed and certified transplant experts is here to guide you through your transplant journey, starting with an evaluation to determine if you’re a good candidate. Our social workers and financial coordinators also work with you to identify the necessary resources and help ensure a successful transplant.

We're dedicated to serving our community, so each patient who enters our doors is examined individually and holistically. Also, you don’t need to be referred by a physician or dialysis clinic to make an appointment – we accept self-referrals.

All surgical procedures are completed at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange, where you’ll stay through your post-op recovery period. Then, you’ll come back to our satellite location for your follow-up appointments and further monitoring.

James’ wife Linda originally had a kidney transplant in 1995 from a deceased donor. When she needed another transplant, James didn’t just offer his support. He gave her a kidney.

Today’s living donors don't need to be blood related, so spouses like James can offer their loved ones this precious gift.

"Linda regained her health and quality of life. When I saw her after surgery, I broke down and cried. She felt and looked so much better with a healthy kidney again."
