Visiting Hours

The safety and wellbeing of our community is our top priority. To ensure caregivers, patients and visitors are safe, we have a policy for visitors entering our hospitals and Providence Medical Group clinics in Spokane Stevens counties.

Please review our current visitor policy before coming to the hospital and clinic.

Spiritual Care

Providence St. Joseph's Chaplaincy Services staff is available for patients and family members 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Call 509-935-5263.

Smoking Policy

Providence has a tobacco-free policy on all campuses. Washington State law (RCW 70.160), prohibits smoking in all indoor public places and workplaces, as well as within 25 feet of any entrance.

• Patients are not allowed to smoke. Physicians cannot provide permission to patients to leave their care units to smoke. Patients may request prescriptions for tobacco cessation products from their physicians.
• Visitors smoking on the St. Joseph's campus is prohibited. This includes parking lots. There are no designated smoking areas at St. Joseph's Hospital.
