If a symptom or injury poses a serious threat to your child’s health, they should come to the ER right away. We treat symptoms or injuries that require immediate attention, such as:

  • Broken bones with deformity or severe pain

Sometimes, it’s obvious when you need to go to the emergency room. Other times, it’s unclear if the ER is the right place to get care for your child. If you’re unsure, call your child’s primary care provider first. They can help you make the best decision.
