Foundations of Health
Basic human and social needs must be met for individuals and families to be their healthiest. These social determinants of health include socioeconomic status, education, neighborhood and physical environment, employment, social support networks, and access to health care. The Providence family of organizations invests in addressing social conditions to improve health and well-being and reduce long-standing inequities in health care. Examples of this work are featured here in our community investment stories.
