Welcome to Northern California's 2024 Annual Report

Providence’s commitment to serve all, especially those who are poor and vulnerable, extends beyond the walls of our ministries. Across California, we partner with like-hearted organizations to help ensure our communities have access to care, food, shelter and other critical resources.

In 2024, Providence invested $188 million in community benefit across Northern California. Strategic investments supported the following programs: 

  • Supportive housing, recuperative care and respite care for those experiencing homelessness. 
  • Naloxone (Narcan®) distribution boxes and substance use navigators at Providence emergency departments across the region, helping support those suffering from substance use disorders.

These are just a few examples of Providence’s commitment to the community. I hope you will take time to read our 2024 annual report to learn about the many ways Providence is investing in the health of our communities. We are grateful to work with community partners in pursuit of our vision of health for a better world.
