Through a partnership with Special Olympics, Providence is proactively reaching out to people who are developmentally disabled and their caretakers to get them the ongoing health care they need.

When Kim Bird needed help caring for her dying father, Seward Area Hospice was there, providing compassionate end-of-life care. Support from Providence helps ensure this care is available.

Kodiak Women’s Resource and Crisis Center is the only shelter available in Kodiak for men, women and families impacted by domestic and/or sexual violence.

With help from investments from Providence Alaska, VOA's Transition Age Youth Services provide mental health and substance-use services, employment, education assistance and housing support.
